Oh the foot pain! Plantar fasciitis is the worst; certainly makes exercising a challenge (as if exercising isn't already a challenge when one is so exhausted from lack of sleep). Calf stretches helped. Love that you're sharing all the less common symptoms of perimenopause - so helpful!!
The root of all evil - the calves 🤣. And, I know mine are tight, and yet I forget to stretch them. It's the one part of my body that I pretty much ignore. Thanks for the reminder and for restacking the post. I appreciate it! ❣
Oh I've been suffering on and off with Morton's neuroma for a few years now - I had no idea it was common for women our age. I'll share one other thing that helped me, those yoga toes thingies to separate out the toes. Someone also told me to wear shoes with a big toe box. I never wear high heels, so I know that's not a factor for me, but it still shows up from time to time.
Hi Christine! I hope you feel less alone dealing with this. No one ever sits down at their ladies' luncheon and announces they've been dealing with Morton's neuroma 😁. Yoga toes! I had totally forgotten I owned those until you just reminded me about them. "They" say they work and I feel like they did to help stretch out my feet. I have to remember to put them on at the start of a show or movie so I can get max time with them. They make walking funny. Thanks for stopping by, and good luck with the feet-zees.

My feet changed by at least 1/2 size! I still feel like I'm trying to figure out my correct size. Another informative article.
Same! And I'm in Europe where we don't really do half sizes. So I used to buy shoes in size 39 (6UK or 8US) and now I have to buy size 40 🤷🏼♀️
Oh, that's right! Europe doesn't have half sizes. I have a few pairs of European-size shoes (Birkenstocks and Ecco), and I was a 37 and am now a 38.
Maybe we can share shoes! I still have my 6.5 and my 7 shoes for when I can fit into them again. They're gonna fit again, right?? 😁
Yes, sounds like our shoe size is very close. I'll let ya know when I figure out my shifty feet!
Great article! I bet most people didn’t even know about this…I know I didn’t! Thanks for keeping us informed.
Thanks for stopping by! May your toes always be in the sand.
Great post, particularly the Morton's necromancer! I've been there but didn't know what it was--thx!
Oh, Mary Anne! You're awesome. Keep your eyes on the stars, and your feet on the ground. - Teddy Roosevelt
Laughing now about spell checker turning neuroma into necromancer--although there may well be a relationship. ;)
I knew exactly what happened and thought it was hilarious!
