So good, A, so good! Yes absolutely! The explosion of menopause information can add to health anxiety and overwhelm that shuts us down if it's written in the wrong way which it so often is. It's one of the reasons why I write creatively about this, keep it to one topic only, and don't overwhelm people with unnecessary statistics and new science. I also don't use fear as a motivator or make this about rules and regulations. That's only going to increase our anxiety further. That's no way to live. I write the way I would like to read things in the health and wellness space.
Thanks for your lovely post. So much of it echoes my experience as well. I think the health anxiety topic is something to explore in a lot more depth. It's a bit of a chicken-egg scenario with peri and anxiety, especially given the endocrine, psychological, biochemical and emotional variables involved. I often wonder if the information overload with this menopause explosion has done more harm than good for those of us with health anxiety. But, like everything with menopause, I guess it comes down to finding a balance.
Shelby, thank you for sharing your journey. Oh my gosh, this advent calendar is so flipping cute, I could hug it. Such a creative idea!!
Now I can't wait for Dec 1st! This is going to be fun. Thanks for posting a comment, Jess!
Thank you so very much for sharing with us. Most importantly I can relate with your experiences. Glad you enjoyed your Thanksgiving!
You're welcome! Thank you for being here and reading my work!
