Great piece! Women need more education about what's happening to their bodies once the menopause transition begins. Nutrition and lifestyle helps offset some of the changes and can help you feel better.

Thank you - as always! These are so so helpful. I have a why… why the hell am I so angry? Sometimes. For no reason. Like, start the day, fire-breathing-dragon angry. And then not. 🐲😅

Hi! Here are the two rage articles:

https://theperiprofessional.substack.com/p/your-perimenopause-alter-ego

https://theperiprofessional.substack.com/p/beauty-in-the-beast

The bonus content mentioned in the second one is in the welcome email that you received when you subscribed, but if you need me to send it again, just let me know.

Hope they help to tame your dragon 😁.

Thank you SO MUCH! I do have access to the PDF and am looking forward to reading it. Again, I so appreciate the way you normalize these issues and tie all of the pieces together.

I'm so glad you've been finding everything helpful! My goal is to share what I know so that no one has to go through what I did when this all started for me.

We've bottled up a lot over years! Our sh*t buckets are full. I wrote two articles on rage. I'll pop the links here to both over the weekend. For now just wanted to say, thanks for your comment and being a subscriber! Angry dragons are welcome here.

So many gems in here!

Yes, you definitely feel like the older sister paving the way for us all. Thank you!

I learn something new from you all the time.

A "loop cycle". That's a new one.

Is this when a woman has her period and the 15 days later has another period?

This hasn't happened to me but I've heard of it happening. What the fresh hell? Sounds rough.

Where has this newsletter been all my life?! For the past few years, I've struggled with a handful of health challenges I've been unable to solve. Well, I just got my hormones checked and found my estradial is extremely low (or at least it was the morning I got my blood drawn). Now I realize all my health challenges are symptoms of perimenopause. Why did I not run into this possibility in my reading?! It's not as if half of the population is female or anything.

I love when we have these light bulb moments 💡 and everything clicks into place. I don't know about you but I find it comforting to know what's perimenopause related and what's not. And there's been so much that's been perimenopause related for me. Once I figured that out I knew what direction to take.

You're not alone in your frustrations of "why didn't I know this?" I think the way it's traditionally presented doesn't make it interesting or applicable. I try to address that here in my creative way.

Thanks for dropping a comment, Moorea! If you need additional help mapping your symptoms to perimenopause, I offer 1:1 services too.

Thanks, Jennifer! Here's an inside secret - I had another article planned for last night and at the last minute I took a sharp turn and wrote that one instead. Happy Friday!! I hope you have a good weekend and see a glimmer of spring. I woke up to surprise snow on the ground yesterday. So much for spring.
