Great post, great humor! ;) Reposting to my peeps tomorrow. One thing I will add is that doctors view hair growing well on your ower legs in particular as a positive sign that you don't have diabetes. It seems hair loss on the lower legs can sometimes be a sign of poor circulation, which can be a complication of diabetes, especially if it leads to peripheral artery disease (PAD). So...if you're mostly loosing hair on your lower legs (versus all the other places you'd rather it not grow), you might want to pay some attention to that.
Thank you for this bonus information! I'm going to pull that into the article and use it as a quote from you. For anyone reading this comment, Mary Anne is a longtime healthcare professional and nurse practitioner. She knows her stuff!
What an interesting post, Shelby. I have read just a little bit about fascia in the last few months but now I'm ready to learn more. And yes, I've reached that age when my eyebrows and hair have gotten thinner. Thank you for this post.
I don't know actually. There's very little info I could find. Maybe we should do a poll. I noticed it around 51-52. Or maybe we should pay attention to when our men get bushy eyebrows and ear hair!
I agree! I started to lose a lot of hair on my head with hormonal shifts and chronic infections that had to be treated with antibiotics, but not my legs or anywhere else! lol I do know older women who don't have to shave anymore and I'm praying for that day to come, SO tired of shaving! My hair on my head is slowly coming back in thicker :)

Thanks for stopping by, Stéphanie! I'm glad that fascia is getting the attention it deserves now, and I think you'll enjoy learning about it.
So interesting about the fascia facts! What age does losing body hair typically start?

I lost head hair through endocrine malfunction, but it seems to be coming back. I wouldn’t cry if pit and leg hair went, but NOT on my head!

That's great news on the hair growth, Kat! Thanks for reading the article and dropping a comment. I appreciate hearing from readers.
Thanks for doing the research and sharing.
That will be amazing if it grows back. We seem to have better luck with reversing some head hair loss than we do with body hair loss.
