Hi Jennifer! I'm glad it helped set an expectation in case it ever happens. I hate that mental tennis game of should I shouldn't I call the doctor's office but this is a clear line in the sand.

I didn’t even think about the possibility of bleeding in post menopause. Thank you for bringing awareness to these important subjects Shelby! I am definitely one of those people who would “just wait and see” but after reading this I now know better. Thank you! 💛

Oh so many!

"Walk this way. No this way."

"No, it's pronounced Eye-gor. They told me it was Eee-gor. Well... they were wrong then weren't they?"

" Werewolf. There wolf. There castle. Why are you talking like that? I thought you wanted to. No, I don't. Suit yourself, I'm easy."

Fun trip down memory lane! You know them all! I don't know why Abby Normal came to me when I was writing this article. Sometimes it just happens that way lol. That's right he was eye-gor! I asked someone else in a comment who liked the movie too if they saw The Last Remake of Beau Geste with Marty Feldman and Michael York. It's the same type of humor. I watched Young Frankenstein as a kid but I bet that I'd find it even funnier now as an adult.

Oh, Kat, sending over some love to everyone in your family and especially your Aunt. Stéphanie left a comment here that both her Mom and Aunt had it at the same time and all is well now. I hope that gives you some hope.

I need to rewatch that whole movie again. Marty Feldman is hilarious! Did you ever watch The Last Remake of Beau Geste?

I think you should win an award for best subject lines! And most creative yet relatable way to share information on perimenopause- your newsletter is truly fun to read, and I always look forward to the crucial information that you share. The amount of knowledge you have is fantastic; and it includes the nitty gritty stuff that women NEED to know during perimenopause and beyond. Thank you!

Happened to my mum when she was around 70 and at the exact same time to her younger sister who was around 66 then. They both immediately got taken care of, my mum in Belgium and my aunt in France. Both had endometrial cancer! Both were treated, very swiftly and without side effects. Very important information you are sharing here, Shelby. This is real. Thank you!

Your comment brought tears to my eyes. Stories like this are far more impactful than any health article can be. This is an incredible situation where they both had it at the same time. And you highlight the importance that this is something to watch out for for the rest of your life not just immediately post menopause.

This must have brought so much stress to you and your family. Bravo to your Mom and Aunt for staying on top of their health concerns. Amazing women! I'm happy the story had a happy ending for both of them.

Thank you for adding your story to this article. It matters! 🩷
